Founders Day is the annual celebration of Canada's smallest city, Greenwood, B.C.
Incorporated July 12, 1897, Greenwood has the smallest population of any Canadian city.
Celebrations fall yearly on the second Saturday of July.
July 8th & 9th, 2017, we are celebrating Greenwood's 120th anniversary, Canada's 150th, and commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Japanese internment.
Greenwood is located in B.C.'s southern interior Boundary Region, 27 kilometers west of Grand Forks.
